PWRDF staffer to leave fund

Rob Shropshire is leaving his job as development team co-ordinator of the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) to join the Canadian Human Rights Foundation as program manager in mid-April.

“We feel such pride that his outstanding work on human rights is being recognized,” said PWRDF executive director Andrew Ignatieff, who called his staffer the fund’s corporate memory. “But at the same time we are deeply saddened. It’s at terrible loss.”

Mr. Shropshire, who as travelling in Burundi and could not be reached for comment, was responsible for PWRDF’s program in the Great Lakes region of Africa, including Rwanda.
