Leonard James of the Cowichan tribes, Coast Salish Nation, B.C. and Gloria Cope, a member of Aboriginal Neighbours, burn a poster representing the B.C. government’s provincial referendum on native treaty negotiations. Natives and supporters marched from Nanaimo to Victoria in support of native treaty rights.
