Media consultant is hired

Tony Whittingham

Tony Whittingham has been appointed to the temporary position of communications consultant with the national church. He began work May 10 at the church’s national office in Toronto on a six-month contract. He will work on the church’s media strategy concerning the residential schools issue, with Partnerships’ staff to develop a strategy that promotes the church’s work in healing and indigenous justice and work on a communications plan for General Synod 2001. Mr. Whittingham is a graduate of Trinity College, Universite de Montpellier and Queens College, Cambridge.
