Justice camp

The diocese of British Columbia will host an environment justice camp that is open to Canadians over 18, to be held in various sites around lower Vancouver Island from May 13 to 19.

The camp, which is part of an ongoing justice camp series sponsored by the eco-justice committee of General Synod, will be a chance to “explore the nature and quality of all our relationships (including the place of humanity) within creation, in order to recover and rediscover balance, limits, and true community,” said Peggy Wilmot, camp co-chair.

Enrollment is limited to 70 campers; half of the campers are to come from across Canada, and the other half will be those who live locally; participants will also be divided equally between those under and over the age of 30.
