Youth worker hired

Agnes Flam, a Church Army officer from Halifax, N.S., is the new youth ministry co-ordinator for the Diocese of Brandon. She is the first person to hold the newly created position. Commissioned with the Church Army in 1994, Cpt. Flam has served as a youth pastor in Ontario, and as director of Christian education at a Halifax parish. She has already spent a year in the diocese working at the Albert Knight Centre in Elkhorn, Man. “I see myself as a facilitator and encourager of youth and adults involved in youth ministry,” she said. “I want to be a resource person for parishes in the diocese.” Cpt. Flam plans to travel frequently and visit each deanery on a regular basis. Mustard Seed
