Battling a big foe

A large red ribbon, the internationally-recognized symbol of AIDS awareness, is placed in front of the Christ the Redeemer statue atop Corcovado mountain during World AIDS Day in Rio de Janeiro, Dec. 1. Anglicans in Canada and abroad marked the day with song, drama and even kite flying.
