Bishop Brian Germond, of Johannesburg, visited Canada in early May to preach at the ordination of his sister-in-law. Rev. Anne Germond was ordained on May 6 at St. Luke’s Cathedral, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. in the diocese of Algoma. Also attending was retired Bishop Jack Peck, formerly of the diocese of Huron, who served as chaplain to the Algoma clergy conference that took place the same week.
