Six representatives of St. Andrew’s parish, Kelowna, B.C., in the diocese of Kootenay, traveled last summer to Monterrey, Mexico to visit its new sister parish, San Andres. The parish chose San Andres after the diocese voted last May to enter into a companionship relationship with the diocese of northern Mexico. San Andres requested that the Canadians’ mission be to teach English as a second language to young people.
