Schools draw closer

Published February 1, 2002

Two Christian schools in the west – Canadian Bible College in Regina and Nazarene University College in Calgary – have agreed to create a centre for Christian higher education on a new shared campus in Calgary, beginning in the summer of 2003.

The campus will be the new home of the Canadian Theological Seminary.

The two colleges do not plan to merge, but will each offer 15 academic programs at the new centre. Nazarene has university degree-granting authority in Alberta and Canadian Bible College plans to apply for degree-granting status.
