PWRDF aids flood victims in Bangladesh

The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) has contributed to relief efforts concerning the conflict in the Gaza Strip in the Middle East and in areas of Bangladesh that have seen widespread flooding.PWRDF sent $10,000 to Action by Churches Together  International to provide for food and medical needs in the Middle East. Hundreds of families were displaced last June as a result of fighting between the Hamas and Fatah Palestinian groups.The fund also sent $22,000 to UBINIG, the acronym of a Dhaka-based agency that is providing food, clothing, agriculture and fishing aid to families whose houses, farms and fishing equipment were wiped out by monsoon floods in Bangladesh.
