The diocese of Rupert’s Land turned down an offer for Anglican Island and terminated its contract with its present real estate broker. The asking price for the island is $1.5 million, and the rejected offer was for $800,000.

According to the Rupert’s Land News, the market for this type of property is softer than it when the island was first listed. All items related to the island’s Anglican camp will be kept there during winter. The camp has been closed, the buildings secured and water drained for the winter. The property is still for sale.
