The diocese of Montreal’s Bishop Barry Clarke and Archdeacon Janet Griffith returned July 24 from a mission visit to their partner diocese in Masasi, Tanzania. The visitors were present as a bore hole sponsored by PWRDF and CIDA was handed over to the village of Chakuma for management. Bishop Clarke presided at a ceremony in Nachingwea in which more than 80 people were confirmed in the Anglican church.
