Mission trip will build Grenada chapel

Published January 1, 2007

The Grenada Reconstruction Project, which will build a chapel on the site of the former St. Luke’s Anglican Primary School that was completely destroyed in 2004 during Hurricane Ivan, is organizing another mission to Grenada.

Applications are now being accepted for volunteers who wish to participate in the project. Volunteers may choose to work the first two weeks (approximately Jan. 11 to Jan. 29), or the last two weeks (Jan. 28 to Feb. 11) of the project.

Aside from the chapel project, other smaller jobs may be done, depending on the number of volunteers recruited and the availability of materials.

Those unable to volunteer are invited to provide financial support and prayers for the project. For more information, contact Toni Lambert at (403) 285-3286.
