Marsh takes parish

Bishop Ronald Ferris, of the diocese of Algoma, has appointed retired Bishop Edward Marsh as interim priest-in-charge of St. Brice’s church, North Bay, Ont.

Bishop Marsh and his wife, Emma, began their ministry Oct. 14 and will remain in North Bay until January, 2002. Bishop Marsh has a background in renewal ministries, Cursillo and Alpha as well as years of experience as a parish priest. He was mostly recently diocesan bishop of Central Newfoundland.
