A meeting of the Joint Anglican-Lutheran Commission in September decided against a logo to symbolize full communion between the two churches and to continue using letterhead with the two national church logos instead.

The commission had earlier announced a contest to find a logo. After reviewing eight submissions, including one from the United States and one from Argentina, the group decided to call off the contest because they said their relationship is a partnership rather than an amalgamation.
