Oxford Web Publications Ltd., the firm that printed the Anglican Journal and the Anglican Church of Canada’s 20 diocesan newspapers, said it was forced into receivership on March 6. The Woodstock, Ont.-based printer said it formed a new company, Oxford Web Printing, and is negotiating an immediate purchase of the company’s assets from the receiver.

The Anglican Journal has arranged for Signal Star Publishing Ltd., of Goderich, Ont., to print the April, May and June issues of the national and diocesan papers while it tenders for a new printer. The Journal plans to have a recommendation for a new printer by the end of April, said Larry Gee, business manager for the Journal.
