Journal launches fall appeal

By on September 1, 2000

Readers in most dioceses will find the Anglican Journal’s fall appeal package in this newspaper.

(In Toronto, the diocesan newspaper, the Anglican, is running its appeal this month. The Journal’s appeal will go to Toronto readers in October.)

Reader support for the Journal has been strong this year and we hope it continues with this new appeal.

The past year has been a difficult one for the church as the impact of the residential schools legacy hits home.

The Journal has been a leading publication in Canada in documenting the current crisis and the history that lies behind it.

Our special report, Sins of the Fathers, won widespread respect in the media and among readers – but it was expensive to produce.

Please support this important ministry.

We also thank those readers who were initially missed in last year’s appeal and made recent donations.
