Herrera is interim treasurer

In the wake of Peter Blachford’s resignation as General Synod treasurer at the end of December, Archbishop Fred Hiltz, primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, announced that controller Michael Herrera has agreed to take on extra responsibilities as interim treasurer until the position can be filled. Mr. Herrera was hired as controller in December 2006.

Archbishop Hiltz said a search for a new treasurer has already begun and “we hope to have that position filled by late winter or early spring.”
