Forty-five years and counting

Myrtle Jones has been honoured as a life member of the Anglican Church Women (ACW) at St. Michael’s Church in Chevery, diocese of Quebec.

The certificate, presented by Joan Bobbitt, herself a life member of the ACW, was in recognition of Jones’ 45-plus years of dedication to Christ Church ACW-Harrington Harbour.

Proactive and motivated, Jones has served selflessly as president, vice-president and treasurer. Her devoted service at the Christ Church Anglican Parsonage “has been outstanding,” said Bobbitt.

In addition, Jones has been an active member of the Canadian Red Cross Society for many years. At present, she participates in seniors’ and women’s groups in Chevery.
