    • The Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the first Mormon temple built outside the United States, is in Cardston, Alta.
      • Rev. Charles Farnsworth served as headmaster of Grenville Christian College (GCC) from 1983 to 1997.
      • Canon Geoff Jackson, chair of the GCC’s board of directors, issued a personal apology to former students who have come forward with allegations of psychological and physical abuse against some priests and school staff. “The apology that I offered was a personal apology and not from the board,” said Mr. Jackson.
