- In 1926, Luther College in Regina expanded its academic program to provide first-year university studies with the University of Saskatchewan . In 1968, Luther federated with the University of Saskatchewan, Regina campus (now the University of Regina) and began offering liberal arts degrees. Today, more than 1,300 students are enrolled at Luther’s high school and university campuses.
