Charity in fashion

The Anglican Church Women of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, Ont., diocese of Huron, staged a unique fundraising on Nov. 3 to benefit children affected by HIV-AIDS in Africa: a fashion show featuring authentic period clothing from a private collection. Footsteps in Time featured more than 50 models who showed off 150 outfits, some dating back to 1870, from the collection of vintage clothing hobbyist Marion Kernighan.
