Carving out a future

Members of the Vancouver School of Theology community carry in a 680-kilogram totem pole carved by Coast Salish artist Jackie Timothy. The pole was a gift from Edmund Maier, whose son Harry (far left) is a VST professor. Rev. Dr. Wendy Fletcher (left), meanwhile, was installed recently as the ecumenical school’s first Anglican principal since the union of the Anglican Theological College and Union College in 1971.
