Can any organist beat record of 72 years?

At age 14, in 1931, Frances Wheeler was sent by her mother to play the organ at the Church of St. John the Divine, in Acme, Alta. Now Frances McCulloch, she has been organist there for more than 72 years, and after a confirmation service on Sept. 28, the bishop honoured her with a gift on behalf of the congregations of St. John’s and Christ Church , Carbon.

We think she might be a record holder for that length of service as organist and we are inviting any congregation that can equal or come close to that accomplishment to contact us at Box 71, Acme AB, T0M 0A0. Mac Jones
