Pastoral care retreat

The School of Pastoral Care, an ecumenical group dedicated to renewing healing ministry within churches, will host a five day residential training event at Elim Lodge, a Christian retreat and conference centre near Peterborough, Ont. The retreat, to be held May 28-June 1, 2001, is intended for members of the Order of St. Luke as well as any clergy, lay people and medical professionals interested in the Christian ministry of healing. The school provides “hands on” training for praying with others and a series of lectures which will include the integration of medicine, psychology, spirituality in the healing process, and the healing of memories and relationships.
