The Anglican Foundation, in cooperation with the Anglican Military Ordinariate, has established a trust to lend financial support for the office of the Anglican bishop ordinary to the Armed Forces.
The Anglican Church of Canada has been providing active ministry to the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces, particularly those now serving in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
The current bishop ordinary is Peter Coffin, the former bishop of the diocese of Ottawa.
