Clowns and the congregation listen to the sermon during the annual Grimaldi Service Feb. 3 at Holy Trinity Church in London. The event brings together professional clowns from Britain and Europe in a service of remembrance to the famous British clown Joseph Grimaldi, who died in 1837. The day’s gospel dealt with the effects of being fretful: “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?”
