Although I grew up Mennonite, my wife and I are blessed to be part of an Anglican congregation in Winnipeg that has a vibrant ministry. Our choirs (yes, we have more than one!), the organ music, the excellent and thought-provoking sermons and active Sunday school program have drawn in many university students, families with young children and people from diverse cultures and circumstances. Renewal, vitality and relevance are not only possible, but are alive and well within numerous Anglican parishes whose liturgical worship and resounding organs proclaim the wonderful gospel message of Jesus’ love!
