Williams appointed Journal staff writer

Leigh Anne Williams has joined the Anglican Journal‘s editorial team as a staff writer.

Ms. Williams, who works three-fifth time, officially began her duties on Nov. 17. Ms. Williams comes to the Journal with a wealth of experience. She was a reporter and researcher at the Canadian bureau of TIME magazine for seven years, news editor of Quill & Quire (a literary publication), and worked for a time at the Chronicle Herald in Halifax as well as the Globe and Mail.

She is a long-time member of Church of the Redeemer in Toronto and was a subscriber to the Journal long before she began her work.

Interim editor Keith Knight said, “Leigh Anne brings professionalism and a keen awareness of the issues facing the Anglican church.”
