Seeking peace

In one of the book’s many exercises, readers are asked to seek the peace of God.

“…Continue by asking God that this peace may be a deep well within you that not only refreshes you but [that] spills out to touch all those who are part of your life this day…Close with these words, or any other similar prayer that comes naturally to you: “May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, fill my heart, my mind, my body and my soul this day that I may be a source of God’s peace for my family, my friends, my community and all this troubled world. Amen.”
