The Council of General Synod elected Rev. Stephen Andrews General Synod prolocutor and Suzanne Lawson, from the diocese of Toronto, as the Anglican Church of Canada’s clergy and lay representatives to the Anglican Consultative Council (ACC).
The council is one of the “four instruments of unity” in the Anglican Communion.
