More than $7,900 has been donated to the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund in memory of Archbishop Edward (Ted) Scott, former primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, according to fund director Andrew Ignatieff.

The collections at Archbishop Scott’s memorial and funeral services in Toronto were donated to the fund. Archbishop Scott’s newspaper obituary notice also mentioned the fund and individuals sent in contributions.

Archbishop Scott, who was primate from 1971 to 1986, died June 21 at the age of 85.
