Consultant appointed

Eileen Scully, 37, has been appointed consultant for ministry and worship in the Faith, Worship and Ministry department of the Anglican Church of Canada’s national office in Toronto.

Ms. Scully began her three-month contract on Oct. 1. She will work with the Anglican Council of Indigenous Peoples to produce worship resources on healing and reconciliation, among other projects.

Ms. Scully, who lives in Waterloo, Ont., most recently served on the worship committee for General Synod 2001 and was the local liaison in Waterloo for the joint Anglican/Lutheran service at synod. She has also served as associate secretary for the commission on faith and witness of the Canadian Council of Churches.

She holds a doctorate in theology from St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto.
