Co-ordinator hired

Chris Hiller was recently named indigenous justice co-ordinator with Partnerships in Mission, based at Church House.

She will work with aboriginal and non-aboriginal groups, primarily in Canada, on justice issues, including land rights and treaty rights. She will also work with ecumenical coalitions and with Anglicans involved in advocating indigenous issues.

Ms. Hiller was a counsellor with New Experiences for Refugee Women, a non-profit organization in Toronto that offers a variety of services to refugee women.

She earned her master’s degree at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, part of the University of Toronto, and her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Waterloo.
