Canadians respond to hunger in Zimbabwe

Canadian Foodgrains Bank, of which the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) is a member, is sending more than 9,000 metric tons of food to Zimbabwe. A man pushes a wheelbarrow containing relief food from a distribution centre south of Harare on Jan. 15. The UN predicts that more than five million people, nearly half the country’s population, require emergency food right now.
