Primate visits St. John’s

The Primate, the Most Rev. Michael Peers, visited Newfoundland recently and participated in services marking the 50th anniversary of the church in Newfoundland becoming part of the Anglican Church of Canada. Archbishop Peers spoke about “the enormous gratitude of the rest of the Canadian church that the one (now three) dioceses of Newfoundland are with us.” Newfoundland Churchman

Anglicans gather in Ireland in May

A three-nation companionship between Anglican dioceses of Quebec, New Hampshire and Killaloe-Limerick, Ireland, will take another step forward with a large gathering in Ireland in May. The dioceses of Quebec and New Hampshire will each send 20 members to Ireland to meet Irish clergy and lay people and experience parish life. Quebec Diocesan Gazette
