Anglican Appointed

Lutheran Life Insurance Society of Canada has appointed its first Anglican board member — Rev. Mervyn R. Mercer of Etobicoke, Ont. Mr. Mercer is assistant principal at Wycliffe College, of the University of Toronto. He also serves as assistant professor of Anglican formation at the college, and directs its “Profiles in Ministry” vocational assessment program. Last year, Lutheran Life, which is based in Waterloo, Ont., extended membership to Anglicans, following approval of full communion by the two denominations.
