A princely visit

The Prince of Wales, right, attended Sunday services at a historic Anglican church in Whitehorse, the Yukon, in April during a six-day visit to Canada. St. Simon’s church, also known as the Little Log Church, is 101 years old and seats only about 60 worshippers. Rev. Mary Battaja, left, who is a member of the Na Cho Nyak Dun nation, presided, and Bishop Terrence Buckle, partly hidden, right, of the diocese of the Yukon, preached. Prince Charles also visited Ottawa, Regina and Saskatoon, attending events and touring locations that reflected his areas of interest – young people, native culture, the environment and the arts.
