Women still out

A proposal to open up an all-male group called the Bishop’s Men to women in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island diocese has received a cool reception.

Archbishop Arthur Peters and Bishop Fred Hiltz of Nova Scotia had suggested that changing times might mandate the group reconsidering rules regarding membership.

But members of the group felt differently. “Women have enough groups of their own already,” one of them said.
