Cameron named to new council post

Canon Gregory Cameron has been named as the Deputy Secretary General of the Anglican Consultative Council. The position is a new one for the Anglican Communion, created to accommodate the growing work of the Communion office. He will assist newly-appointed Secretary General Canon Kenneth Kearon.

Mr. Cameron has been director of ecumenical affairs and studies at the Anglican Communion Office for the last 18 months, and secretary of the Lambeth Commission on Communion, in addition to staffing all international ecumenical dialogues of the Anglican Consultative Council. Before taking up this post, he worked in the Church in Wales, and in educational ministry.
