A break-in occurred between the evening of Tuesday, October 17 and the morning of Wednesday, October 18 at the national office of the Anglican Church of Canada in Toronto.

No signs of forced entry have been identified at the front entrance. It is unknown how the perpetrators were able to enter the building, though there is damage to a door near the building’s loading dock.

Offices on the third floor of the building, which are locked at night, were targeted.

Thieves broke several doorknobs while forcing entry into the offices. Petty cash amounting to more than $500 was taken. Two laptops have also been reported stolen.

Toronto police are investigating the incident.
