A 23-year-old university student here has started a Web site that features photos and information about Anglican cathedrals around the world. “At first I knew little of cathedrals and their significance, but it was not long before I discovered that cathedrals are indeed something very special,” wrote Daniel Woods in an e-mail to the Anglican Journal. A parishioner at the Cathedral of St. Paul in Wellington, Mr. Woods set up the Web site (www.geocities.com/anglican

cathedrals) as a hobby. “The initial motivation behind the Web site was to encourage Anglican friendship across our communion, particularly amongst our sister capital city cathedrals … as well as raising the profile of our cathedrals across the globe,” he wrote. The Web site currently lists only cathedrals in national capitals, but Mr. Woods said he hopes to expand it to include cathedrals in other cities. He may be reached at anglicancathedrals@yahoo.co.nz.
