A video about sexual misconduct, produced jointly by Anglican Video and the diocese of Toronto, has won two awards.

Sexual Misconduct in Our Churches: Learn to Spot It, Learn to Stop It earned a silver award from the Canadian Corporate Television Association and a third-place for creative excellence at the U.S. International Film and Video Festival.

The diocese initiated the project and paid $25,000 from its contingency fund to help produce the video.

Canon Dawn Davis, director of human resources for the diocese, acted as production consultant and wrote the Bible study that comes with the video. Canon Eric Beresford, ethics officer for the national church, and Mary Wells, a member of the diocesan resource team that is implementing the sexual misconduct policy, also worked on the project.

The video can be purchased from the Anglican Book Centre in Toronto for $19.95.
