Israel did not exist as a state for more than 2000 years.When they came back from Egypt as a very large group they needed a territory to live in – the majority being only herdsmen needing pasture for their cattle etc. So with their larger numbers they occupied land with God.s blessings if they followed HIM. The Mosaic laws specifically told them to treat the people living there fairly remembering they were also strangers in Egypt for 400 years till GOD delivered them.This not being done they were conquered periodically by different people around them,then by Alexander,Romans etc.Each time they ran away to different places as far away from war as possible while the original inhabitants & conquering people settled there. Now thanks to the western powers those lands were taken from the Turks ( who were ruling the area then) as the Turks were allied to the Nazi’s then. After the war then ” Palestine” a part was gifted to Israel by the victors to Israel as they were consumed by guilt by what Nazis had to them. Of course they were’t consumed by guilt at other things as slavery,conquest of nations of the third world etc or even the massacre in the Congo by Belgium because they were inferior peoples ?! Even now when protests happen for one death or injury 10 times more are killed in Israel. As a Christian I am ashamed that the so called Christian nations ( which brought Christianity to the rest of the world supports Israel as most of the richest ones in the world are from the Jewish people.
