Thank you Archbishop Linda. Even though we know we are facing the same challenges at this unprecedented time it is very helpful to hear it from others especially our primate. We at St John the Evangelist in Edmonton try to take part in our video recorded worship at 10:00am every Sunday with members of the congregation reading the scriptures, doing the prayers of the people on a rotation basis. Although we long for the time when we can all come together physically, Our priests (ordained ?) Richard, Cameron and Maryann are doing a great job organizing and coordinating the service with our honorary priests stepping in at various times. We are truly blessed and although we are climbing up a steep technological curve we are doing more than we can ask or imagine, because we are not doing this alone.
‘Dear ABBA, give us your people grace under the leadership of Archbishop Linda and all those in authority over us, to hear and receive your word and to bring forth the fruit of the spirit.’
Your sister in Christ,
Cynthia (Boodram)

Re: "We are all missing other aspects of our sacramental heritage. Sharing of the Eucharist, confirmations, weddings and even funerals have been postponed or, where permitted, celebrated with only with a few people." You used the passive voice. I assume you mean that certain bishops may or may not permit these blessings. Strange. My wife and I--with no local parish interactive meetings (Zoom, etc.) worship where we may do so.
