To prune usually means to cut out and throw away. Sometimes that is self-defeating. This spring I soaked some sunflower seeds in water for a while before planting ; a higher percentage of the new plants grew but some were spindly and after a windy day some stalks had bent and almost broken off; the plants would have died had I done nothing. I found a stick about 8 inches long and taped it to the stalk above and below where the almost break was. Today every one of those plants has a strong thick stalk and a large yellow flower. Sometimes repair is more useful than pruning, even with people. --Bill Grubb Pembroke Ontario

Thank you, Archbishop Linda for your call to redemption and reconciliation.. We must educate ourselves and build relationships until the sin is paid. Then we enter the journey of reconcili-action, reclamation and recompense. May Creator give us resolution and steadfast love in Christ's name.
