Money does not take away sin. Only the blood of Jesus does. People have been hurting each other for millenia. We are a Christian church. Repentance and forgiveness is the ONLY way to deal with past sins. I knows what forgiveness can do, — having received it and given it. Reconciliation is possible only AFTER this step. It is not easy and not quick. But we need to begin.

I do miss St. Joes! However I now live in Pembroke at Caritas. We have an really good Priest which prople really like. His Homilies are very good and not too long.
He pesides at Mass a number of times during the week as well as Sunday
