When seeing that &quot;Bell wrote that she would be voting in favour of a change to the marriage canon.&quot;  I have to wonder what she would say if someone were to approach her and say &quot;Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?  Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.&quot;?]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Great news. But when will we get to the point where we really do treat men and women equally and not have remarks on the gender of the person elected? Statements such as &quot;first woman&quot; are true, but are they necessary these days? Surely it&#039;s not such a novelty-or should not be. It&#039;s also obvious. Hopefully we will celebrate that a person is elected and gender will not attract special attention.]]></description>
