But, by all accounts, it will happen. Rules for the rich versus rules for commoners!!!
I have sat through a service year after year where the priest, following directions from Synod, speak disdain for the divorced adulterers .. and yet – the church, with its dwindling congregations does not seem to understand how insulting and hurtful this is to all who listen …Ah, but the tithe is received from these very sinful people!
I had a wonderful marriage of 50 years … but have many friends who just couldn’t make it work – I love them just ad much and know in my heart and soul that they are equally loved by Father, Son & Holy Spirit… Amen
And one last rant in case anyone does read this…
I have not read anywhere in my rudimentary understanding of the words of the Bible, where Jesus declared.. ‘I will cure this diseased person… if they are baptized’! Honestly – do you read anywhere in the last supper where He said ‘…drink this in remembrance of me- only if you are baptized’!!!! Sometimes I think the church interpretation are only such to keep authority and control of the people.
