It would be foolhardy of the church to drop the print edition or remove Anglican Journal's editorial independence. A paper without such independence would be an utter travesty -- and a hard slap in the face to AJ staff, contributors, and readers. . And you'll lose many (probably most) of your readers if you forego a physical edition. I'm on the computer all the time for work -- I have NO desire to read magazines or newspapers online.

I am both a reader of Aj and a longtime contributor. You should be proud of that award-winning newspaper and its hardworking staff. The changes under discussion are grotesquely wrongheaded. They will undermine, subvert, and ultimately destroy this fine publication. What in the world can you be thinking -- to even consider such inane "changes?"
